This glossary is made with 20 words about a dentist. My dad used to be a dentist, so I will ask him the important words of it.

abscess
It is a noun.
An abscess is a painful collection of pus, usually caused by a bacterial infection. Abscesses can develop anywhere in the body. This article focuses on 2 types of abscess: skin abscesses – which develop under the skin. internal abscesses – which develop inside the body, in an organ or in the spaces between organs.
Example: The presence of inflammation, obstruction, ABSCESS, and fistula should be investigated to determine the type of Crohns that has i.e. is there any stricture formation as a cause of 's nausea and colicky abdominal pain, as this will help to tailor her management.

a continuous or prolonged dull pain in a part of one's body.
Example: The pain described by the patient as being a "widespread intermittent ACHE" radiating across the whole of the abdomen and feeling 'solid to touch'. It was not aggravated or relieved by anything including over the counter analgesia and was a 'dull ACHE' in character.

Overview. Gingivitis is a common and mild form of gum disease (periodontal disease) that causes irritation, redness and swelling (inflammation) of your gingiva, the part of your gum around the base of your teeth. It's important to take gingivitis seriously and treat it promptly.
Example: Some of the most common clinical signs of infection are: Oral infections - Such as GINGIVITIS and stomatitis, both very painful inflammations of the gums and mouth and due to an under-active immune systems.

Surprisingly, despite extensive caries, calculus and PERIODONTAL disease, apparently no abscess formed in the remaining alveoli.

Primary teeth are also known as baby teeth, milk teeth, or deciduous teeth. They act as placeholders for permanent adult teeth, but they have different composition, structure, and number. Primary teeth are smaller and look whiter than permanent teeth because they have thinner enamel.

The term comes from the Greek language meaning the “Discharge of Pus”. Also called periodontitis, pyorrhea is a multi-factorial disease that directly affects the gum tissues and the bones in the mouth. The disease is bacterial in nature and a consequence of untreated gingivitis.
